Kathy Topp has been involved in clinical informatics for over 20 years, both with SMS as a vendor and for 17 years as director of education and clinical informatics at Tri-City Medical Center. She has organized many educational symposiums and has done poster and podium presentations on different clinical informatics topics. She was co-founder for the San Diego Regional ANIA chapter and has been on the board for 6 years, currently serving as past president.
