California State University San Marcos School of Nursing partnered with San Diego Regional Chapter of American Nursing Informatics Association to develop and conduct a regional informatics conference. Baccalaureate nursing student interns worked with chapter leaders to support the planning of a professional conference. The nursing students also learned about the structure and functions of professional organizations, gained leadership experience, and enhanced their personal and professional development.
