Dr. Joseph Cook currently serves as vice president and chief nursing informatics officer for Baptist Health System. He maintains executive responsibility for all nursing technology, clinical application services, and virtual patient care services. Joseph holds a bachelor’s degree from Auburn University, a master’s degree from the University of South Alabama, and a doctor of nursing practice degree in executive nursing administration from the University of South Alabama. He is ANCC board certified in nursing informatics and is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He also serves on the national board of directors for the American Nursing Informatics Association.
