Dr. Carol Bickford currently holds a senior policy fellow position in the American Nurses Association's Department of Health Policy. Her professional portfolio encompasses nursing informatics, HIT, and scope and standards of practice issues and projects. She was one of the developers of the Weekend Immersion in Nursing Informatics (WINI) in 1995 and is a founder and managing partner in Informatics Consulting and Continuing Education, LLC, a small, veteran, woman-owned business.
