This workshop explores the world of nursing informatics via facilitated discussion of the scope and standards of nursing informatics and the importance of the system life cycle and computer-human-interaction in specialty practice. Participants also explore potential nursing informatics roles and identify an action plan for lifelong learning that includes continuing education, advanced education, and ANCC board certification in nursing informatics.
