Dr. Anita Harris is director of clinical operations at Texas Children's Hospital. She has served as a leader in pediatric and women's services focusing in the areas of nursing informatics, nursing quality, nursing education, and float pool. She serves as a professor of nursing for several different institutions, including Capella University and Denver College of Nursing. She holds her DNP degree, with a focus in organizational leadership, from Chamberlain College of Nursing. She is the founding president of the Colorado chapter of ANIA.
