This presentation discusses how our organization was tasked with the implementation of a cutting-edge technology, which promised to provide safer medication delivery for our patients by providing interoperability of the electronic medical record and the smart IV pumps. the FMEA approach was utilized, providing data translation using live-use case scenarios, thereby turning raw data, tracking trends, and improving our process.
