Alicia Bremer is a pediatric clinical nurse specialist, specializing in nursing informatics practice. She began working as a nurse informaticist 10 years ago when her organization undertook the deployment of an enterprise-wide EMR system. She was the lead nurse on the project; responsible for overseeing the clinical content build, implementation readiness, and the primary liaison between clinical leadership and technical teams. Alicia is now the quality & patient safety systems manager where she oversees a team responsible for the organization's adverse event reporting software platform, automatic hand hygiene monitoring software, compliance/regulatory auditing, and various comparative databases.
