This full-day pre-conference workshop focuses on organizations’ use of the EHR in regard to patient safety and quality. Emphasis on documentation and management of unintended consequences that can impact safety and quality, and best practices in managing and tracking these safety concerns, including examples from practice settings and the ONC’s new Safety Plan, are discussed.
