Description
With data breaches and theft of patient records costing the U.S. healthcare industry an estimated $5.6 billion a year, hospitals and other medical facilities are under pressure to close the security gap, remain in compliance with federal and state regulations especially with the Omnibus Rule, and counter the growing onslaught of insider threats. A primary reason for the rise in data breaches by insiders is that many organizations fail to accurately assess the risk of insider threats.
