Dr. Rhonda Collins has been a nurse for more than 30 years. In 2012, she co-founded The American Nurse Project, dedicated to telling stories of nurses across the country. Since 2014, Dr. Collins has served as the chief nursing officer for Vocera, a leader in clinical communication and workflow solutions. In 2019, Dr. Collins was named a fellow by the American Academy of Nursing. She earned her bachelor's degree and DNP degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, and her master's degree in nursing administration from the University of Texas.
