Rachel Dawson is the health system assistant director of ambulatory care operations and informatics team at The University of Kansas Health System. She has over 25 years of inpatient nursing specialization in mother/baby, newborn nursery, and NICU. She has worked in informatics for over 9 years. She started on the informatics team as an analyst and was promoted eventually to AD. She has grown to love the field of informatics and mentoring others as they start their careers.
