Patti Timbers is the Director of Health Informatics at CHI Franciscan in Tacoma, Washington. She has been a nurse for over 20 years and is board certified in informatics. She entered the informatics field as an orders analyst, moved into management four years ago, and over the past six years has been through numerous implementations, both big bang and smaller individual applications across seven hospitals and over two-hundred and fifty clinics. In the past three years her team has been utilizing process improvement methodologies to improve outcomes.
