Michelle Ruslavage DNP, RN, NE-BC, CPHIMS

Dr. Michelle Ruslavage is a United States Public Health Service Commander and has more than 18 years of combined clinical and consultant experience as a registered nurse working within the Indian Health System. She currently works for Indian Health Service-Office of Information Technology and is the federal lead for the RPMS immunization and immunization data exchange, syndromic surveillance, and clinical quality measure applications. She is also the federal lead for the agency's 2015 Edition Health Information Technology certification.

She received her BSN from University of Pittsburgh and her MSN and DNP from Vanderbilt University. She is a Vanderbilt University School of Nursing instructor, board certified Nurse Executive and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems.

Her knowledge and expertise in nursing and informatics has enabled her to provide assistance to tribal, Indian Health Service, and Urban health facilities from both a clinical and information technology perspective with a focus on quality health care.
