Marcy Stoots MS, RN-BC

Marcy Stoots is a clinical transformation leader specializing in the application of EHR tools that improve the quality and safety of healthcare delivery. Her clinical transformation and organizational change management leadership experience has enabled healthcare organizations to deliver higher quality patient care through their EHR tools. Ms. Stoots is skilled with all implementation and optimization aspects of major EHR vendors, with demonstrated results in improving usability, system adoption, and clinician satisfaction. Ms. Stoots has over 30 years of experience in healthcare, including experience as a critical care and pediatric nurse. She is currently pursuing a DNP with a focus on investigating EHR downtime impacts to patient safety, and is developing a downtime toolkit for organizations to use to prevent and monitor safety events. She has an MS in nursing informatics from the University of Maryland and holds ANCC certification in nursing informatics.
