Dr. Linda Burnes Bolton is the Vice President of Nursing and Director of Nursing Research at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She served as the Vice Chair for the Institute of Medicine study on the Future of Nursing and the principal investigator for the American Academy of Nursing study, entitled “Technology Drill Down.” She is a past president of the National Black Nurses Association and the American Academy of Nursing. Currently she serves on the board of the American Organization of Nurse Executives. Dr. Burnes Bolton received her bachelor’s of science degree from Arizona State University, master’s in nursing, master’s in public health and doctorate of public health from the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Burnes Bolton is a member of several nursing organizations and has held national and international leadership positions throughout her career. Currently she serves as a trustee for Case Western Reserve University and is a board member of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
