Christine Sumner is the director of training for Optimum HIT CareerPath. Optimum HIT CareerPath is a service line created to bridge the gap between new college graduates and the world of healthcare IT. Christine has been a registered nurse for 32 years and has a master's degree in nursing informatics. She has spent time in clinical care and leadership and in healthcare IT, both as an analyst and leader. She has had the pleasure of leading teams from 3-100 FTEs and discovered the human factor of engagement is critical to success, regardless of the size of any team.
