Bonnie Norris is a quality informatics analyst at Mayo Clinic and supports external quality submissions and analytics in the community health ambulatory care setting. Bonnie has over 25 years of experience in various healthcare settings including medical, cardiovascular, ICU, and disease management nursing, in addition to her many years devoted to quality. Bonnie holds both an ANCC informatics nursing certification and a certified professional in health information and management systems (CPHIMS) credential. Bonnie was the 2016 Maggie Cox Writer's Award Winner for the Journal of Informatics Nursing article, "Data Validation: Swimming in the Depths of Data." She is currently serving as the president-elect for the ANIA Midwest chapter.
