We are pleased to announce that ANIA will be offering quarterly updates presented by The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC). Initiatives and programs stemming from the ONC impact the work of nursing informatics, and ultimately the improvement of patient outcomes.

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology recently released the Health IT Patient Safety Action and Surveillance Plan which addresses the role of health IT within the Department of Health and Human Service’s commitment to patient safety. Be on the cutting edge of your practice by understanding the latest developments with federal legislation and current policies driving health IT patient safety initiatives!
