Enrollment in nursing informatics programs is on the rise. As informatics nurses begin their journey, they need effective mentors. This presentation describes the FACTS (Familiarize, Assess, Coach, Teach, and Support) framework used at the NIH Clinical Center to orient new informatics nurses to lay a solid foundation for growth.
