112 - Using Data to Expand the Role of the Informatics Nurse

This presentation explains the results of a pilot study exploring nurses’ personal and professional use of social media. Data is presented to assist the informatics nurse in understanding how nurses can influence and educate professionals, patients, and consumers in using the Internet safely for seeking health information and for socialization.
