OD09 - Reducing Paper Documents Scanned in the Hospital: A Story of Collaboration

Thousands of documents are scanned daily into electronic health records. To reduce the amount of waste in the clinical records process, one institution developed a partnership among the document imaging, clinical informatics, nursing, information technology, and process improvement teams to address the problem. This session discusses implementation and results to date.
