030a - 030 - TIGER: Facilitating Interprofessional and International Informatics Education Reform

This workshop highlights the journey and accomplishments of the Technology Informatics Guiding Education Reform (TIGER) Initiative Foundation. Built on relevant and necessary pillars for change, the presentation focuses on accomplishments of TIGER Phases I, II, and III, and now as the TIGER Initiative Foundation. The presentation includes a live demonstration of the TIGER Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) sophisticated platform with information on the progress, demographics, and profile of the content initially valued by VLE users. Additionally, the workshop informs participants about opportunities for involvement, future directions of TIGER, and the progress of state level (U.S.) and international TIGERs as the TIGER movement spreads.
