In this presentation, a panel of expert nursing informaticians will explain major impacts of the pandemic on the health and nursing informatics field and discuss lessons learned from their responses to the pandemic, such as incident command centers, policies and procedures, training, health IT system changes, health and data analytics, and patient engagement. The panel will also discuss future directions to prepare for other pandemics.
