In this presentation we discuss the findings of a study on how hospital nurses view the use of secure texting applications in patient care and gain real-world advice on how to improve healthcare technology adoption among nurses and other care team members.

I believe we have more to learn about using smartphone in the patient environment. I also believe that the younger nurse who are more tech savvy would be more willing to use a smartphone than the baby boomers who will more like put hands on care over technology.
