114 - Lost Specimens: How We Got Clinicians to Recognize the EMR Won't Fix the Problem

With any workflow that relies on information from the EMR, the first reaction is how to build the EMR to fix the issue. We were able to get ahead of this thinking at our organization by using a multidisciplinary team that also had informatics team member participation to tackle the problem.

Kansas requires all CE to be a minimum of 1.0 hours in order to be counted toward your licensure. A 0.85 offering is not helpful. That's unfortunate, because the content is great, and people may not take it and will miss out because of this.
