The emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has created a knowledge chasm for nursing leaders in informatics and a void of thought leaders in the AI space. Based on the results of the 2023 nursing informatics survey, a significant knowledge gap was identified. Nursing leaders must prepare themselves to establish the AI organizational vision of care/operations and clearly layout the top-of mind issues for healthcare organizations.

Learning Outcome
At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be able to discuss the educational preparedness nursing leaders need to be ready for new leadership roles in the area of Artificial Intelligence.
