This session outlines a transformational roadmap geared towards enhancing clinical informatics performance and practice, leveraging an innovative process improvement vehicle coupled with change leadership principles. Reflection into the shared burning platform for embracing transformational change in health care leveraging advanced clinical informatics practices, a detailed overview of an innovative improvement approach, the specific steps to achieving significant outcomes, and reflection of “real-life” performance achievements in a hospital environment are discussed. Key leadership best practices and lessons learned as a result of adopting this strategy are also shared.
