Nurses’ satisfaction was compared before and after the implementation of Bar Code Medication Administration and Clinic Orders in a Veterans Affairs urgent care clinic. The increase in satisfaction with the medication administration system affirmed the nurses’ favorable perceptions in the benefits of the technology when using it in an urgent care clinic.
