Victoria Richardson is the clinical informaticist manager at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital. A registered nursing since 1986, Victoria was appointed project manager for the 2010 implementation of the electronic medical record, where she led teams through a successful go-live. She continues to lead teams in the next phase of system stabilization and optimization, with the goals of adoption, improved quality care, and decreased staff, provider, and organizational liability.
A major contributor in the successful attestation of Meaningful Use Phase 1, attainment of HIMSS Stage 7 for Bon Secours Richmond, and CPOE goals throughout the Bon Secours Health System, Victoria’s expanded foci include system preparedness for the upcoming MU Phase 2, ACO, and MSSP initiatives readiness.
