Robin Raiford has more than three decades of nursing experience and over 18 years in informatics. She has been following the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services EHR Incentive program closely as well as activity of the HIT Policy and HIT Standards Committee since they were created in 2009. Ms. Raiford is a co-author of the chapter on “Meaningful Use” published by HIMSS in Spring, 2011 in Medical Informatics: An Executive Primer, 2nd edition, and she is the creator of the Meaningful Use, The White Board Story and the Meaningful Use Pocket Guide infographics. She is a two-time recipient of the Spirit of HIMSS award, the recipient of the 2008 HIMSS Distinguished Fellow Service Award, and the 2012 Nursing Informatics Leadership award.
