Lisa Young PhD, RN, NI-BC

Lisa Young is an informatics certified, PhD-prepared nurse research scientist at Endeavor Health located in the Chicagoland suburbs in Illinois. She has over 16 years of nursing experience, spanning from obstetrics, informatics, quality, and professional development. In supporting operational leadership with quality and data, Dr. Young identified a lack of user-centric dashboard tools for nurses. Whether at the bedside or in leadership roles, nurses needed to see and understand their data visually and simplicity that aligned with their workflow. Her research with nursing dashboards started as her dissertation when exploring dashboard use and factors influencing use for hospital nurse managers. Since then, she has continued to build on her work to integrate the use of AI in the dashboard development process.
