Jason Goldwater is a senior vice president at Clinovations and has extensive experience in the development and implementation of health information technology, specifically around electronic health records, standardized system design, and performance-based metrics to evaluate the necessity, effectiveness, and economic impact of emerging technologies in health. He has worked for a number of years on the creation of standard-based interfaces and data warehouses to support public health activities, such as immunizations, asthma, and diabetes.
In addition, Mr. Goldwater has worked on the development of software and infrastructure design to support quality improvement activities in hospitals, nursing homes, and physician’s offices. He has been extensively involved in training activities in the tools that support quality improvement work, as well as the process of developing and reporting quality measures. He has been involved with electronic health standards for over a decade, and served on part of the President’s tasks force to develop electronic specifications, performance metrics, and quality measures for health information technology across both the state and federal sectors.
Mr. Goldwater graduated from Emerson College with a degree in philosophy and a master's degree in public administration from Suffolk University. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a certified professional in electronic health records (EHRs), and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBB).
