Ilona Edwards MSN, RN-BC, CLSSGB

Ilona Edwards currently holds the position of senior director of virtual care at Inova Health System. She is a longtime nurse with extensive experience in different roles across nursing. With 24 years of NICU nursing as a bedside nurse, educator, and director followed by 10 years in nursing informatics and analytics roles, Ilona has a passion for continuous learning and innovative solutions to reduce nursing documentation burden. Virtual nursing is yet another way to reduce that burden on the bedside nurse while enhancing patient experience and care.
