Erica Zippo MS, RN, NI-BC, CPHIMS

Erica Zippo is the nursing informatics manager for White Plains Hospital, bringing a combined 18 years of clinical and informatics experience. She spent 12 years as an acute care bedside nurse in labor and delivery before transitioning to clinical informatics, where she spent 6 years as a specialist leading and supporting a wide range of IT projects, applications, and trainings, including multiple Epic rollouts. In her current role, Erica collaborates across the organization on workflow assessments, optimization initiatives, and technology implementations. She serves as the Epic RN lead for White Plains Hospital, participating in governance across the 10‑hospital health system, and facilitates the nursing informatics task force within the hospital’s shared governance model. Erica is also the founder of the ANIA NY Tri‑State Chapter and remains an active contributor to its work.
