Dr. Emily Gesner is an ANCC-board-certified informatics nurse and assistant professor at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth. She received her master’s degree in nursing informatics from Excelsior College, her doctor of nursing practice degree from Northeastern University, and her PhD degree in nursing with a focus on health policy and population health at the University of Massachusetts-Boston. Her focus of research is reducing documentation burden in nursing.
