Donna Beuk has been a nurse educator for seven years and a RN for over 15 years. She worked as a bedside nurse in ICU and emergency/trauma departments. Her teaching experience has been at the ADN and BSN level, teaching a variety of courses from medical-surgical, foundations, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and evidence-based practice. She has a passion for the provision of safe, effective healthcare and incorporates informatics throughout her courses. She believes the retention and advancement of bedside nurses is critical for the delivery safe patient care. Donna recently held the position of Assistant Professor at Auburn University at Montgomery and is currently employed as a nurse educator and NCLEX specialist with ATI Nursing Education while she completes her EdD in Instructional Leadership at The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL.
