Christine Lippincott is a PhD student and teaching assistant at the University of Miami, School of Nursing and Health Studies. Her clinical background is in emergency and post-anesthesia nursing, and she has taught undergraduate medical-surgical clinicals. Christine is a second-degree nurse, with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and public communication. She holds a master’s degree in nursing informatics, and is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Informatics Nursing. She is a former Cerner associate, and plans to examine the relationship between nursing excellence and EMR adoption for her dissertation.
