Alyse Rainey BSN, RN, NI-BC
Alyse Rainey is the IT Program Manager for Clinical Informatics at Henry Ford Health in Detroit, Michigan. She has 16 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with the past 10 years in informatics through various roles. As a program manager she helps develop the system informatics roadmap and prioritize projects and provides informatics expertise for a variety of initiatives.
Over the past two years, Alyse has provided informatic oversight for the system planning and delivery of virtual acute care, including Virtual Nursing, virtual provider consults, virtual monitoring, virtual ICU, AI, and ever-expanding use cases of virtual technology. She is passionate about using technology innovatively to change the landscape of healthcare for both clinicians and patients.

As Chief Nursing Informatics Officer at Henry Ford Health since 2017, Donna Summers leverages her 39 years of healthcare experience to lead nursing technology strategy across the organization's hospitals and all ambulatory teams. She directs virtual acute care and vICU expansion, integrates AI tools for clinical documentation, and standardizes EHR systems and vendor platforms. Donna also provides critical technical guidance for the Destination: Grand project and champions initiatives that enhance nurse efficiency and unify clinical communications. She has served on Michigan Organization of Nurse Leaders and HIMSS Nursing Informatics committees. Currently, she is serving as secretary for the Great Lakes ANIA chapter and on Epic’s Nurse Efficiency Analytics Council.
