Scholarly writing and American Psychological Association formatting are necessary to enable evidence-based nursing practice. There is limited literature on the best practice for teaching these skills. This article presents a focused presentation with consistent faculty reinforcement with promising results. The learning management system is shown to be effective in promoting consistency in teaching these concepts.
