Description

Harbingers are messengers, change agents, and the voice of the future. For this issue of the Journal of Informatics Nursing, ANIA continues its quarterly interview column, featuring a health care information technology expert speaking to one of today’s many topics of importance and weight to nursing informaticists. We were extremely honored to speak with Tess (Theresa) Settergren, MHA, MA, RN-BC, who is the director of nursing informatics in the Enterprise Information Services Department at Cedars-Sinai Health System, Los Angeles. Tess brings over 15 years of experience to her role, including multiple electronic health record implementations, optimizations, and (in her position prior to Cedars-Sinai) direct oversight and strategy for over 200 clinical applications.
