Becky Jones is Regional Coordinator for the West Texas Health IT Regional Extension Center, a division of the Institute for Rural and Community Health at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. In her time with the REC, Becky has attained ANCC informatics nursing certification and practice workflow and information management redesign specialist certification through HIT-PRO, an ONC program to further develop the health IT workforce. Becky earned her master’s in nursing from the TTUHSC School of Nursing. Becky has 12 years experience in ambulatory health care quality and compliance and is certified in healthcare quality. With the REC, Becky works directly with primary care practices and has become the "go-to" content expert in the area of workflow analysis and redesign.
