Dr. Robin Austin is an assistant professor at the University of Minnesota, School of Nursing, where she directs the Center for Nursing Informatics and coordinates the DNP nursing informatics specialty. Dr. Austin integrates her clinical background with informatics and data science methods to represent the patients’ perspective across the healthcare continuum. Her expertise is in consumer and clinical informatics, and her research with large datasets and data science methods examines social determinants of health and resilience.
