Amy Strauss Tranin APRN, MS, AOCN, RN-BC

Amy Strauss Tranin, Senior Clinical Specialist, Oncology, serves as a clinical oncology subject matter expert as part of the medical affairs team at NantHealth. Prior to joining NantHealth, she was part of the oncology development team at Cerner Corporation and led a team of analysts, clinicians, and engineers in the design and development of the oncology solution. Before joining Cerner, she had a private practice in cancer genetics at Menorah Medical Center. In her practice, Cancer Genetic Counseling, LLC, she conducted comprehensive cancer risk assessment and management of individuals and families. She has published extensively and lectured internationally in cancer genetics, advanced practice oncology nursing, cancer genetic counseling, and nursing informatics. She is the editor and author of the book Genetics in Oncology Practice, which won a first place book award from the American Medical Writers Association. She is board certified in advanced oncology nursing, nursing informatics, and familial cancer risk assessment and management.
