Amy Kuwata is a clinical nurse informaticist at the University of California, San Francisco. Amy has a master's degree in nursing and has been a registered nurse and clinical nurse specialist for 16 years, board certified in informatics for 5 years. Amy's role at UCSF focuses on current and future state workflows, technology in the hands of nurses at the bedside, and utilization of technology to help nurses care for patients optimally with KPIs and other outcomes-focused implementations for improved patient experiences.
