Nicole Mohiuddin is committed to improving patient care outcomes and keeping patients safe through the use of innovative healthcare technology. She has enjoyed a broad-based informatics career that has included leadership roles in the provider, vendor and consultant arenas of healthcare. Her informatics roles have included serving as a Director of Clinical Informatics for a multi-hospital health system, Manager of Strategic Marketing for a medical devices corporation and as a Senior Informatics Consultant for a Fortune 500 company. She currently serves as a Senior Technology Analyst in the Department of Business Systems at UVA Health, an academic medical center located in Charlottesville, Virginia. Her projects include forecasting staffing and scheduling capacity, workforce analytics and nursing productivity tools. In addition, she also is pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) at James Madison University. Her DNP work is titled “Medical Device Cybersecurity Risk Assessments: Engaging Clinicians to Mitigate Risk”.
