Ashley Trambley MSN, RN-BC

Ashley Trambley is the manager of the Vanderbilt Discharge and Transitions Department at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She has been a nurse for eleven years. She spent six years working as a nurse manager in outpatient rehabilitation departments with a focus on the implementation and optimization of clinical documentation systems to enhance nursing efficiency and streamline workflows in her clinics. These roles led her to the pursuit of her master's degree in nursing informatics from Vanderbilt University and ANCC board certification in nursing informatics in 2018. She spent two and a half years as the manager of the nursing informatics department at Vanderbilt University Medical Center leading implementation support efforts for a variety of new systems and workflow improvements across the Vanderbilt health system. In her current role, she is leading an interdisciplinary team working on the deployment of an automated patient messaging platform that intersects with the clinical documentation application to deliver 24-7 support to patients during the post-discharge transition to home following hospitalization at Vanderbilt University Hospital.
