Dr. Tammy Surratt Kemp is an associate professor of informatics at Chamberlain University. She has influenced large-scale organizational change with over 30 years of expertise in various senior operational leadership positions. Dr Kemp received her doctorate from Case Western University and her master’s degree from Duke University. She also has adjunct faculty appointments in the school of business at Virginia Tech, Liberty University, and Radford University. Dr. Kemp is a certified nurse executive and received the Virginia Nurse Association Foundation for Excellence Award in Leadership in the area of informatics. Dr. Kemp has partnered with numerous organizations and technology companies to improve multiple healthcare products. She serves as a consultant and frequent speaker. Dr. Kemp has a passion for development of thought leaders in the area of innovation to enhance patient care and operational clinical efficiency for the future.
