Christine Martin MBA, MT, PMP

Christine Martin is one of the country’s pioneers and leading authorities on the development and operation of telehealth programs. She has over 18 years’ experience developing telehealth programs. She developed and implemented telemedicine in the 33 state prisons in California and is currently the director of telehealth for Adventist Health, where she is developing outpatient, stroke, and inpatient programs. She served as executive director of CTEC, the federally designated Telehealth Resource Center in California for five years, advising hundreds of rural and urban patient and provider sites, major health systems, and employers, including Geissenger Health Systems and Google. In 2011, she was invited to the White House to meet with the the Secretaries of Health and Human Services and Agriculture about telehealth adoption and expansion. She has authored 10 guides on best practices, reimbursement, and program design, including a comprehensive guide of telehealth development and a national certification program for telehealth presenters and coordinators.
