Dr. Jamie Skipper is the senior scientist at ONC and is leading ONC's efforts around both the learning health system and patient-centered outcomes research. Before ONC, Dr. Skipper worked on Capitol Hill, the IOM, and at the NIH. She had a PhD in cardiac physiology and directed NHLBI's portfolio of grants on cardiomyapthies and cardiac dysfunction. She practiced as a nurse at various hospitals around Washington, DC, in cardiology and pediatrics.
